Job Context

• NRB Bank Limited one of the 4th generation commercial banks in the country aims to be the preferred provider of targeted financial services as a conduit for investment to and from Bangladesh for Bangladeshi communities both domestically and internationally, to accelerate the industrialization of Bangladesh.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Develop and lead the implementation of the SME Segment strategy in line with the Bank's Strategy; to ensure achievement of business and non-business target through branch and business unit with revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
• Drive branches, and business units for sustainable growth and acquisition of new customers for the SME Banking through the creation, development and maintenance of high quality advisory relationships.
• To lead the SME Analyst Team for providing analytical support in the business proposals.
• Drive the team to ensure strong cross-selling of existing and new products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units in the Bank.
• Ensure timely submission of quality credit proposals in conformity with the Credit Policy guidelines and requirements whilst leading the team for maintaining the quality of the SME portfolio within the stipulated Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Portfolio at Risk (PAR) parameters.
• To lead the SME Collection Team for reducing NPL, PAR and overdue.
• Lead, motivate, and continuously develop a credible high performing SME Team.

Educational Requirements

• Masters degree in any discipline

Job Requirements

• Age at most 55 years
• 15 years of working experience in Commercial Banks of which 5 years as Head of SME or Deputy Head of SME.
• Excellent relationship management skill with a focus on financial and budget requirements
• Sound knowledge of Commercial Banking, Trade Services, local regulations and exposure to SME Banking industry.
• Computer Knowledge is a must.
• Good communication skill.
