Huawei's phone will not have the benefit of Google
Google, the maker of the Android operating system, has stopped several updates on Huawei's phone. It is the second-largest smartphone maker in the world in terms of Chinese smartphone brands and numbers.

The Trump administration recently added Huawei to its NTT list. Those with names on that list need a special license to do business with a US company. Google's announcement came shortly after the Trump administration's decision, according to a BBC report.
Google says it is following the guidelines and examining its application. Huawei, on the other hand, has not yet commented on the matter.
What will happen to Huawei users?
Those who are already using Huawei smartphones will be able to install apps and make updates on their phones as usual. However, when Google releases a new version of Android later this year, there are fears that it may not be able to be used on Huawei phones. Future Huawei phones may not even use Google Maps or the YouTube app.
Huawei, however, will be able to use the Android version available through the open-source license. The limitation of that version is that Huawei will not be able to customize the operating system as extensively as they have for so long.
According to Ben Wood, an analyst at CSS Consultancy, Google's decision will have a huge impact on Huawei's consumer goods business.
What should Huawei do now?
Huawei responded shortly after the US administration added Huawei's name to its NTT list on Wednesday. As a result of having the name on the list, if you want to buy technology from a US company, you have to get permission from the US government first. The Android operating system is manufactured by Google. In addition, Huawei buys about 6 billion worth of parts every year.
After the recent US decision, Huawei chief remarked that his company was already preparing for such a situation. He added that Huawei will now focus on making its own parts.
Even earlier
Huawei not only makes smartphones, but the company also builds the network structure of smartphones. The Trump administration has repeatedly said that Huawei may have used its network technology to monitor Western governments. Although Huawei has repeatedly denied such allegations, various Western countries, including the United States, have moved away from using Huawei's network products. Many countries have said they will not use Huawei's technology on 5G networks. The United Kingdom, however, has not yet imposed any formal sanctions.
Google's decision will cause major business losses to Huawei in the West in the short term. Those who buy a new Android phone will naturally not want to buy a phone that does not have the Google Play Store.
And in the long run, not only Huawei but other smartphone makers may also consider removing themselves from Android dependence. Huawei is already working on creating its own app store.
